Your Fear of Content Is Lying To You
Fear Is Stopping Your Bag.
I’ve never been one to go out on NYE. I’ve always considered it a time to sit with God and reflect on myself. During what I would call my 2022 State of the Union Address, I got open and vulnerable. I discovered it is and has always been me, God is waiting on me. If you’re reading this, the number one thing I came to remind you, is that whatever you’re fearing isn’t real. The fear you’re feeling is a lie you’ve created to stop you from what’s on the other side. The other side of what? The other side of your potential customers/fans, your community, knowing you exist and have something to offer. Much like me, where you sit right now, you have everything you need to make the dream your reality.
🛑 Stop Playing with Yourself!
Create the content for that brand babe. It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks or is going to think about your content. Disrespectfully, fu** them! Your number one priority in 2023 is increasing your brand awareness (don’t worry I’m here to help you) and the only way to do that is to get over or remove whatever is stopping you from stepping in front of the camera and connecting with your potential audience. Yeah, I said it….VERTICAL VIDEO CONTENT IS KING BOO and if you’re looking to run up a bag 💰 in 2023, you better get to creating. That brings me to my next point…
📈 You’re a Marketer too.
In today’s day and age if you’re a brand or have a business you are a content marketer. Content marketing is a form of marketing focused on creating, publishing, and distributing content for a targeted audience online. A content marketer's number one responsibility is planning, creating, and distributing content to attract and convert prospects into customers. Now that you understand that you’re a marketer it’s time to act like one. Be for real friend! What are you hiding from the world that God been told you they needed to see? If you don’t know where to start begin with the steps below.
🧠 RESEARCH: Go explore the market, who are your competitors? What are they doing? What demographic are they currently serving? Is there an area of opportunity with another demographic? What is the age of your target consumer? Where do they live online (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)?
🗺 BRAND STRATEGY: What do brand colors mean? How can the right color communicate the essence of your brand? What is your brand about? What is your brand messaging? What are you looking to communicate to your audience? What changes now that your brand exists? What does your brand stand for?
🗣 MARKETING TACTICS: Time for action. What digital marketing channel is best suited for your target audience? Should you create content on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook first? Should you be investing in paid social? Or is Seach Engine Marketing a better approach? What time should you be posting? What should your content be about? What are your content pillars?
